HTC DESIRE Factory Resetting:

1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings.
2. Tap SD & phone storage > Factory data reset.
3. Tap Reset phone, and then tap Erase everything.

After fully charged battery take the the sim card
On dialling screen type these code ##258741 then press call button.

After few seconds hard rerest will start.

** Do not hard reset if you really need it.
